Do you just read the Barron's book a few times, or a textbook, or what?

Barron’s is sufficient. I’m taking the class, but my teacher uses nothing but actual AP questions on her tests, and studying from Barron’s is keeping me with a high A in the class. However, I will say that the Myers textbook has extremely interesting experimentation information that might not contribute to the exam but will keep you captivated and immensed in the text.

Barron’s is extremely recommended for self-studying.

Where can one get this textbook?

It’s not really a textbook. It’s just a simple study guide. So the information is concise. You could find one at your local bookstore. Or at Amazon.com.

If you’re referring to the Myers textbook, check Amazon. It’s called Psychology by Myers. Any edition will suffice.

Is Psychology a required course for college, is there any reason to self study for this?

bigappetite - it’s truly interesting, that’s why. Also, some colleges require it for gen ed.

How expensive is Myers?

I’m taking the class right now, and it’s pretty interesting! I heard a lot of good things about Barrons, so I’ll prob get a copy early next year
