AP Pysch vs AP US Gov't/Politics

I'm a rising senior and my senior schedule is very rigorous. I am wondering what highly selective colleges like more AP Pyschology or AP Government and politics. Since I'm pretty sure pyschology is a soft AP even though its still an AP.

You can go to the schools’ web sites and put “AP credit” (or “AP [name of test] credit”) in the search box to see what comes up.

It really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things in terms of the colleges’ viewpoints.

Go with whichever you’re more interested in and will do better in.

Both AP Psych and AP US Gov are considered relatively easy AP exams, so I don’t think one looks more impressive than the other. Based on that, choose instead for one of these reasons: If one receives credit for a college you’re interested in while the other doesn’t receive credit, or whichever one you’re most interested in/would do best in.
