AP Raw Score / % - Conversion Question

Does anyone have a link to or otherwise know the minimum raw number of correct answers needed to receive a 5, a 4, a 3, etc., on the AP Language and the AP Spanish test?

If there's a link to a site showing historical thresholds on most or all AP subject tests, that would be great.

I believe I read here at CC--somewhere, I can't recall exactly where--that getting approximately 62% correct traditionally has been about the minimum needed in order to receive a 5 on one of the exams. But I don't recall which exam was being discussed.

Thanks very much.

This scale changes for every test, like the SAT does. Also, with AP Language, you have essay scores as well ... for example, when I took the released 2001 test, I got 51 out of 54 mc right, subtracted .75 from 51 for wrong answers, multiplied that by some weird number to get my raw mc score, then added my essay scores times another weird number to get my total score, then from my result, like, 110, I scaled it to see that it was just barely a 5

firefly, how low were your essays?

With a raw score like that on the MC, you should've only had to write about 6's.

yeah no kidding...51 out of 54 is insanely rediculous...im taking that test tomorrow and am hell of nervous
