AP Rescore?

When I recieved my AP scores this morning I was a little shocked. I got a 2 on my AP USH test, and to be quite frank I was expecting a 3 at the very, very least. I felt great about the multiple choice; I worked for pretty much the entire time and picked the answers I thought to be the best. On the writing part I thought I did okay on the DBQ and second FRQ (the first FRQ was a bit ehhh). I put in my absolute minimum scores into the APpass calculator (42,4,2,3) and it said a 3 (distribution was similar to 2006). Should I get it rescored? I felt really good about the test, and I really don't see how I could have gotten a 2. Help?

Sure go for it, can’t hurt. Fee isn’t even that high, collegeboard isn’t infallible, it makes mistakes.

I am in the same situation! I finished my APUSH exam and I walked out thinking I would either get a 5 or at least a 4. But when I checked my score, I got a 2.

Same here I thought I would have at least gotten a 3, and like cried for an hour when I saw the 2.

I received my score this morning and I was shocked. I got a 2 on both AP Environmental Science and AP Government and Politics. I thought that I had at least gotten a 3 on each if not a 4. I really hope there is a mess-up … but, with both of my APs? Should I order the FRQs and have the multiple choice for both restored?

rescored* darn autocorrect

Wow did almost everyone’s apush score get messed up?! I got a 2 and I thought it was the easiest AP exam ever! I was super proud when I came out of the exam room too!

To be honest, I think your is correct. I think the curve was pretty high this year, since many of the questions were awfully easy, especially on the free response section. I did like 6 pages on my DBQ, and the 2 FRQs were no-brainers. I know I sound a bit callous, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the curve was something like 75% multiple choice and 6, 6, 6 for a 5 this year. (I got a 5)
