I will have ten different scores by the time I send the Common App in, and the limit is nine. Instead of listing a tenth score in Additional Info, I'm thinking about just leaving it off to avoid making my app unnecessarily complicated.

One of the ten scores is the AB subscore (I got a 5) of the AP Calc BC exam-- that is what I want to leave off: but if I do, do you all think that the adcoms would assume I must have gotten a 4 on the subscore (even with the 5 overall) to have mysteriously not listed the score anywhere?

I’m leaving my AB subscore off as well. I don’t know if it’s possible to get a lower AB subscore, but I think that a 5 on BC implies mastery of the AB material.

It is possible to get a 4 on the AP subscore and still get a 5 overall. You might even be able to get a 3 on the subscore for a 5 overall, but that I highly doubt.

Yeah, I’ll have four SAT II and five AP scores to list on the app. Then the AB subscore makes a tenth.

Yeah mine situation is a bit more complicated; I’ve got 8 AP scores including the AB subscore and 4 SAT II scores. Since SAT II scores are indeed more important (at least from what I read), I would take out the AB subscore and a lower AP score that you may want to report in the Additional Info section. The limit is 8 on my end, not 9.

Also, for me, should I put SAT II first then highest AP?

Cubecul, the limit is 8, the OP made a mistake.

It doesn’t matter what order you put it in! Haha people are getting so picky. I just put everything in chronological order, starting with my AP Biology back in freshman year, followed up by SAT II Bio (m), then my sophomore APs, etc.
