Is this schedule too hard for my junior year?
Where is your math class? Why tripling up on science?
I agree that you should get rid of one AP science and instead sign up for a math course. Noticing that you are very interested in Science, Math is an absolute must unless you have already completed Calculus, and would be even if you wanted to do something in History or English.
In terms of your schedule being too hard, it depends. We would have to know more information. What classes did you do this year. How hard did you find them? What have other people said about the classes you plan on signing up for?
Have a good day!
Im sorry I forgot to say I’m taking algebra 2 honors also and this year I didn’t take an AP course I took all honors chemistry geometry and English, chemistry was extremely easy I passed with an A+ and I maintained an A/B honor roll mostly 90s.
In our high school, if you want to take AP Bio, AP Chem and AP physics, there is no way to do it except to take two AP sciences in 1 year. Most people do it senior year, but some do it as a junior. Kids I know have reported that it is tremendously difficult, but doable.
You should not be tripling up in science. What do you plan on taking as far as sciences, senior year?
Ap Chem
Ap Chem (lab class)
Ap Physics 1 => perhaps take Honors physics
English 3 (regular) => try to take it honors if you think you can get a B. Having the strongest background in English, especially writing and text analysis, will be very useful in preparing for the SAT/ACT, in writing college essays, and for college
Us history (regular)
Algebra 2H
Foreign Language 3
Gym/Business (half semester classes)
Environmental science (regular ) => remove; plan to take APES as an elective senior year
