<p>I am pretty sure you are awarded this award, you do not have to apply.</p>
<p>If you qualify for one of the award levels, a certificate will automatically be sent to you in late September.</p>

<p>Last year I got my score report back with one 3 and two 4s, so I qualified for AP Scholar. I received a certificate in the mail a few months later, without applying or anything. So it is sent to you automatically.</p>
