<p>I just got a ap scholar award today. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether our school is notified. Does anyone know from past experience?</p>
<p>I can’t say for sure, but last year, my school newsletter had a list of the students that got each AP award. I know that my school gets our AP scores (even before the students), so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were informed of our award status in July when scores are received.</p>
<p>I think schools do get notified because I’ve seen schools that publish the names of students who got AP Scholar awards.</p>
<p>I believe they send the scores to the school anyway, though, at least in my case, sometimes school’s really don’t give about any (non-athletic) achievements anyway.</p>
