AP Scholar, w/ Honors, w/ Distinction - Confused

<p>Last year my son took four AP tests and was awarded AP Scholar. (He got 2 5's and 2 4's.)</p>

<p>This year he took three AP tests and got 3 5's.</p>

<p>Last year he was noted as an AP Scholar. This year, on his score report, there is no indication of any award for 2007. Yet, on the score report, it states that "All AP Exams you have ever taken are included in this calculation."</p>

<p>Shouldn't he now be an AP Scholar w/ Distinction? And why doesn't his score report say so?</p>

<p>This is moot, since he's just graduated and is off to a good school. But we mamas watch out for this sort of stuff. What am I missing?</p>

<p>That was just a notification that he recieved that award last year to the college. My report said "2006 AP Scholar with Distinction", but the award for 2007 has not been made yet. There was nothing else there.</p>

<p>So when is the award made? Is there another letter to come??</p>

<p>VerryHappy, I think I read somewhere, maybe on CC, that the CB sends the awards in September. Congratulations to your son!</p>
