AP Scholar with Honor/Distinction

Can students who have not taken all of the AP exams that they plan on taking still receive these awards? For example, could a junior with four or five 5's still put these awards on his/her app, even though they had not completed all AP testing?

Yes, you get each award whenever you qualify for it, no matter what grade in school you are in, so you can put whatever award you received as a junior on your college applications.

i’m pretty sure that’s not what the OP was asking.

to op: i’m actually not sure, I was wondering that myself

No, how would you assume you qualify if you haven’t tested for them yet? Just list the level you qualify for at the time you apply.

For example, I was AP Scholar with Distinction when I applied, but I took enough APs in my senior year to possibly qualify for National AP Scholar. However, because I didn’t have my scores for my senior APs, I just wrote down the former on my application and then I said “in the running for National AP Scholar” as well. That’s what I would do if I was you
