<p>Does anyone know when the recipients of the AP awards are notified? </p>
<p>I'm sending in an app tomorrow, and I'm wondering if it's safe to put down that I'm an AP Scholar with Honor. I have four 5s on the four AP tests I've taken, but... I don't know, it just feels strange to put down an award that I haven't yet received.</p>

<p>Yeah...I havent received any info about it and I already passed AP Physics, AP Spanish Language, AP Spanish Literature and AP Calculus AB.

<p>We had a long thread on this topic last month. You should check the archives because the AP Scholar awards are delayed due to changes from the CB. In summary, the half-year courses now count as if they were full-year courses for awards, but the award levels (3, 4, 5, 8) have not changed.</p>
<p>So, for example, if Marko's Physics test was Physics B, and if those were all of his AP tests, then I think under the old system he would get AP Scholar with 3.5 one-year tests. But under the new system he would get AP Scholar with Honors for taking 4 tests. This assumes, of course, that his test scores were good! But you get the illustrative idea: it is now a bit easier to get AP awards.</p>
<p>I've been told twice by the CB that the awards will come out in late November, but some others have been told earlier dates, so I suppose that it is really not too certain. But don't hold your breath.</p>
<p>I think it is legitamate to figure out your award (check the CB site for the rules and compare your scores) and list it as "expected" or "pending" IMHO.</p>
