Ok, I'm a junior and I will have taken a total of 5 AP tests by the end of this year:

AP European History
AP Psychology
AP US History
AP Biology
AP Chemistry

I'm trying to shoot for the highest AP Scholar Award I can get this year cause I want to be able to show that off to colleges...By next year the AP Scholar Awards won't really matter since by this time, I'll be a senior and most likely already accpeted in college...

So far, I have a 4 in Psych but a 2 in Euro. I'm hoping for 4s in both UShistory and Biology and maybe a 3 or 4 in Chem (shooting for a 5, but gotta be realisitic here lol)

Question: Should I request to cancel my Euro scores since I didn't pass and it's most likely going to drag down the overall average of my AP scores?

AP Scholar with Distinction
Granted to students who receive an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

So if you’re sure you got a 2, you won’t get that award anyway. Don’t cancel if you might get a 3+.

You’ll get the AP Scholar with Honor award if your other predictions are right. But I don’t think the awards matter too much anyway since you don’t get anything other than recognition.

If you average about a 3.5-3.75 on all your tests you can get a AP Scholar with Distinction award, which is the 2nd highest. Below National Scholar, above Scholar with Honor.
