Hi! Im going to be a junior next year. I've taken Bio H and Chem H (this year) and am debating between taking either AP Chem, AP Physics and AP Bio for next year. What are your opinions on what I should take in terms of getting into the top colleges?

I haven't taken AP Physics, but I loved AP Chem and hated AP Bio.

AP chem is easy and AP bio is easy but a lot of work(like labs and homework)
taken either of them
For physics you're talking about C?

I liked AP Bio and hated AP physicis. I didn't take AP Chem. I would actually ask older kids from your own school because a lot of times it depends on the teacher. My AP Bio teacher was awesome. And my AP Physics teacher sucked. So, I hated it. But I would say if you're better at concepts, I would take Bio. And if you're better at math, learning equations, and plugging numbers, I would take either Physics or Chem. I actually did like Newtonian Mechanics in Physics. But once it got into thermal dynamics and fluid mechanics I lost interest. I really loved AP Bio though.

If you want Caltech or MIT, take AP Physics C. Otherwise, ask around, like jene suggested.

Or, if you're feeling adventurous (and/or masochistic), you can take two!!!

it depends who your teachers are

Take AP Bio; you'll love it..Physics is just Physics.

well...it all depends on you....but if i were you....i would take AP chem or physics....

i like math, so i like ap chem

I took AP Physics and AP Chem together, and I must say they are both probably better than AP Bio. If you are more into math, go for AP Physics, otherwise AP Chemistry. However, math is my ultimate passion, but I still liked AP Chem better. Just matters who you are, but try to take both.

zogoto, how impossible is AP chem?

AP Bio kicks but... But if you are not a reading person i guess Bio isnt good... But Bio is great... The Best actually... Haha, i wanna be a bio major by the way, so I am kinda bias...

Uh.... all of these classes are different at different schools with different teachers. Learn about who teaches them, maybe a little about the class from people who've taken it, and sign up for a subject you'd be interested in.

Good suggestion. If you are looking for an easier class, than ask people at your school about how difficult they are because we won't be able to help. The best suggestion is to do what you like. If you love math, do physics or chem. If you hate math, do Bio.

if you do double up, chem and physics overlap better than bio and chem/physics. not to mention the conflicting exam dates.
