AP score question

I have heard that the school receives more extensive scoring information from the AP exams, not only the 1-5 number. Is this true?

Don’t know…

But it would make sense that a teacher might be given some kind of report that indicates which questions or areas the students missed.

I don’t know for sure but am thinking yes.
Basing this on the conversation with son’s math teacher who said that last year there was one kid in the class that scored less than 4 on the Calc BC but she said that he scored high enough on the AB part of it to get a college credit.
I will ask my friend, an AP teacher.

Kelowna:
The BC score usually lists the AB subscore, so that would not be information exclusive to teachers. Many colleges give full credit for an AB score, so even with a BC score of 4, a student who had a 5 on the AB portion would still get full credit.

Just spoke to my friend who teaches AP Calc.
She says that she gets information that pertains to her students as a group but does not get any additional info regarding any specific student.
For exampple, it might say that on question #1 67% of students nationally got a correct answer compared to 89% in her specific group/school.
Hope it helps ! And thanks Marite for your explanation.

Thank you, Kelowna, for getting the answer.
