AP Score report to collges

If I DO NOT send a report to a university, will that college know what I got? (will they receive it with the SAT report?) or any other way?

No, they will not know what you got unless you self-report or do an AP score report. But since you're planning on avoiding scores all together just don't list anything and you should be fine.

however.. it was recommended to me that i self report cause if you took ap classes and don't, they might wonder why and assume you got worse scores than you have.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you do an official AP score report? Is that through College Board, like the SAT?

One way is to use the score report form attached to the official notification of your scores. (You should have received this form in the mail early in the summer after taking the exams). There is a per-school charge to report scores. I think most students self-report scores on their applications rather than pay the charge, at this point.

oh

score reports suck

yea... I just wrote "5 on AP US History Exam" under academic honors section of the common app... it said to do that in the section where one writes his SAT scores.

I'm pretty sure that's all that's necessary.
