AP score report

Do you need to send one in to each college you are applying to, like you do with SAT scores?

good question..im wondering too

you don't need to send an ap score report, its not used in admissions its used for college placement. you send the score report to the college you are going to attend.

Yes, but do the college just trust you when you self-report scores on the Common App?

^yes, you sign saying everything is the best to your knowledge. If you get accepted and when you send the ap score report to college X, but they find out its different than your application then they could technically rescind admission or even a degree.

You only send an AP report to the college you get accepted in.

The AP scores usually arent so important a factor that they require full verification until you enroll. They ARE a factor in admissions, but very minimal.

Colleges may, and probably do, request mailing lists of students identified by their general level of performance on AP tests.

is it bad if i sent my AP scores to a school that i might not necessarily want to attend? It doesn't mean that I've said "yes" to their admission decision does it?
