<p>Hey! I'm sure this has been asked a lot of times... but do applicants need to send official AP score reports when applying to the UCs?</p>
<p>I didn't last year and got into Berkeley from out of state, so I don't think so</p>

<p>Also, if I have two SAT II scores (800 Math IIC, 750 Chemistry), is it worth taking the one for US History in December?</p>

<p>You only need to send in the AP reports to the school you're going to attend for the UC's to get credit for that class (no need for applying)</p>
<p>Thank you for posting this question as I was wondering the same, any chance anyone knows if you can do the same for schools that aren't UC's such as northeastern, american, emerson... like just send in AP scores after youve been accepted?</p>
<p>I've never heard of any school requiring an official AP score report sent as part of the application process. The school you attend will want the official report for placement purposes.</p>

<p>Thanks for all your help! One last question... Is it necessary to rush report my SAT scores right now? Or will they arrive on time? I've heard that the UCs allow them to arrive until around January-ish.</p>
<p>Rushing SAT scores is a waste of money. Regular scores are sent in batches electronically. They are handled by the schools in a routine. Rushed scores are sent individually by snail mail. They are more likely to get lost, and often arrive after the regular score would have arrived anyway.</p>

<p>You do not need to rush the scores, because rushed scores won't be processed any faster than regular scores, and in fact may be processed later.</p>
<p>I don't know whether scores can be received after Nov. 30; that's something you'll have to ask the school itself. But rushing the scores won't get them there any faster.</p>
<p>Scores are NOT needed by the 30th, only your app. Self-report your best scores, and mark on the app if you plan on taking the Dec test to alert the reader to wait until those are available.</p>
