I'm a sophomore in highschool (well was) and I took calc AB/BC and got a b in both classes. I just got my scores for the exam back and I got a 4 on calc ab and a 3 on calc bc. I'm very concerned about my calc bc score, should I take the exam again next year? If I just don't submit the score, will it look bad? Also the school I want to go to is UNC chapel hill.

Don’t stress. Don’t retake.

All you needed was a 3 for Calculus BC to get credit for it at UNC.

You might want to consider retaking the exam next year depending on what schools you apply to in case you wind up somewhere that requires a 4 on BC for credit.

Unless you do some hardcore self-studying, it would be foolish to assume you would have a better grasp of the material a year after finishing the class than at the end of the class. AP scores aren’t a huge deal. Focus your energy on doing well in your other classes.

A 3,4, or 5 in AP Calc BC gives you credit for 4 UNC math classes. Congrats.
