AP Scores 2008 - Post Your Exam Score Here

<p>Woah was that in one year?</p>

<p>Not unless he took 13 classes…LOL</p>

<p>Here you never know :)</p>

<p>so im looking at different sat prep books for next year. im taking 5 ap classes:
ap chem
ap calc bc
ap world history
ap english lang
ap comp prog</p>

<p>im wondering what is the best review books for each one
for those of you who got 5’s which one do u think will help me most
i generally have horrible teachers, so i think reviewing these books will definately help me the most
thanks</p>

<p>pedrofeo92, I got a 5 in AP Chem (780 on Subject Test) and I used the Barron’s and AP Achiever review books. You MUST be willing to study at LEAST 2 hrs per day for at LEAST 2 weeks before the AP exam. I read, highlighted & did problems in my Barron’s book on the bus, during lunch, and etc. My friends who used Barron’s got a 4 but ONLY because they did not use their last 3 precious weeks leading up to the AP exam as well as I did.</p>

<p>thanks dolcevalse
but which books do u recommend for the other subjects
i greatly appreciate it
also, was barron’s questions harder than the actual ap test?</p>

<p>AP Computer Science A - 5 (May 2008)
I highly recommend Barron’s - it’s one of the best review books I used for the subject. Make sure to get an edition published in 2008 or later editions, since the GridWorld Case Study won’t be covered in the older books, and GridWorld is a major part of the exam.</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>Well, the questions in the Barron’s book certainly weren’t identical to the test. I would definitely say that, at least for the test I took in May, the actual free-response questions I took did feel like they were easier than those in the Barron’s book.</p>

<p>^^ totally second sgk1234 on Barron’s
altho i hardly paid attention in class
did almost no work outside of class
(well, except for competitions)
and hardly studied at all for the most part
and started cramming about a week before the exam
by studying all of the Barron’s book chapters
and also the actual past exam free-response questions
and… i got a 5  it really does help
but ya, get one post-2008 like sgk1234 said
because gridworld won’t be on the older ones
and it’s like 1/4 of the exam so you really need it</p>

<p>AP Euro - 4</p>

<p>It really surprised me actually. I completely bsed my essays. I was expecting a 3 at most. This year is only AP Chemistry and I hope for a 5.</p>

<p>us history - 5
spanish language - 5
english language - 5
physics - 3 :(</p>

<p>USH-5
Cal AB-5
Bio-5</p>

<p>World History - 4</p>

<p>you’re just finding this out now? lol</p>
