AP scores and admissions to Harvard/MIT/Stanford

I have about seven exams with a score of 5 and 1 exam with a score of 4(history). Does that affect my chances of getting into Harvard and Stanford? I'm leaning towards majoring in math and science in college.

Don’t worry at all. Seven 5’s completely overshadows that fact that you have a 4 (not that the 4 would have even been a detriment to your application).

I’m worried about that score of 4.

The 4 is not going to hurt you! Trust me. It will not hurt you. If you are really bummed out, you don’t even have to write it on your common application. During the application phase, all AP scores are self-reported. Colleges will only ask for full AP score reports from Collegeboard once you have enrolled to determine credit/placement which is months after you receive your decision.

If it helps at all, I also had a 4 in history (US) and was accepted to many amazing schools. If you want the list, PM me.
