AP Scores and class registration

I didn't request the scores to be sent to Duke when I took the AP exams, and when I called Collegeboard now, they tell me that I can send it in on July 4th (by rush score report if I want to, which takes 2 days).

Two of the four classes that I am thinking about need the AP scores from this year.

In this case, should I sign up for the other two courses first and wait until the AP scores arrive before signign up for the other two (they are forced pre-reqs)??? Am I allowed to do this? Or am I not allowed to sign up for two classes first and the other two later?

I think you are fine if you sign up for the two courses that require the AP scores and then send the scores in later. As long as you get the scores in sometime for the credit to show up. I think generally ACES doesn't enforce pre-reqs unless it says permission number needed or Not Permitted. The general idea is that if you don't have the required knowledge, you'll drop the class anyway...or fail.

If ACES actually allows you to sign up, then just do it.
