Which matters more??? for chem I got a 700 on the SAT II and a 5 on the AP exam. Which one will be looked at more, and are those scores "consistent"? Like would you expect someone who got a 5 on AP Chem to get a 700 on the SAT II or vice versa?

Yes they are consistent, colleges look at both to see where the applicant really lies. But this is very subtle, so don’t fret. I’d say SAT 2 scores are more important than AP because of their more specific score compared to AP’s broad scaling, but in all honesty, I don’t think either one matters for much. I’ve seen people with semi-low scores get into top schools. Only the SAT 1 really matters, and even then, its eh.

For admissions purposes, Subject Test scores matter more. AP scores are used merely to provide context to your high-school grades.
