AP Scores by Phone

Hello everyone, I have a question. Is it weird to get AP scores by phone? Is it automated or do you speak to a real person? I don't want to have an anxiety attack over the phone, but at the same time I have become antsy and want to know my scores.

It’s an automated call

I wouldn’t spend the extra money. (I think it costs money?)

The call is automated and the cost to get all your scores is $8, whether it’s one or more. Otherwise, you have to wait for the snail-mail copy which will arrive in your mailbox between July 9-31 in most cases for US residents.

Next year all AP scores will be posted online for free according to Trevor Packer, the head of the AP organization on his Twitter feed.

If you call ahead, will you still get your scores by paper through the mail?

You will still get them by mail.

Ok, thanks. :)

4 more days…

Can someone post the #? Thanks

Yes, you still get the scores in the mail.

It’s nice to know they will be moving to online score reporting.

Is there an announcement stating July 1st is when they are available? The above link does not mention a date.

It’s July 1 per this page on the College Board’s web site: [Reports and Services for Students](Helping Students with Scores – AP Central | College Board)

Until of course, when Trevor Packer announces them coming out earlier which they most likely will this year, like they have previously.

about how early do they usually come out?

It doesn’t take that long to get them in the mail. We got ours late year at the end of June.

I always got mine around July 25. I didn’t have to pay for my exams this year so I don’t mind paying the $8

^ Same with me, my school pays for any and all AP tests so I don’t mind paying $8. I am truly hoping the scores come out tomorrow… I cannot wait!

Can you call the college receiving your AP scores to ask what you got?

Last year AP Scores came out 5 p.m on June 30th, by phone. Hopefully they will this year.
