I thought kids with completely perfect AP’s/SAT’s were a legend. Then I found out about CC.

@HONORLIONS (and 314159265): We WILL have AP scores to show for this year, as long as we take the retests. Our other option is to simply get a refund.

@asinine16: I believe our opportunity to retest is on August 8, 9 , and 10. The official announcement from the school is coming through the mail in the next couple of days.

^Well, keep us posted!

im sorry to hear that. It must really suck for the seniors who took AP tests and then graduated lol.

Well for APUSH i suggest just reviewing your notes, it wasnt bad at all in my opinion.
For APChem…pray…thats what i heard from my friends who took it (i didnt take it this year)
For APlit/comp…read and know your poetry and figurative language terms lol.

@herozero1234: Thankfully, very few seniors were affected as most of those subjects are junior-majority classes at our school. But yeah, I feel bad for those few. Lit and Comp is not one of the retakes, but thanks for all of the advice! (:

We got a letter today from the school principal concerning the situation. Apparently next monday there will be a meeting at school with parents and students to discuss the situation.
Guess we’re not going down without a fight >=]

I suggest that you get all the members of your school to drive up to CB’s office and take a massive dump on it. Then sue CB for racism towards minorities and people with bowel problems. Then you won’t feel bad about re-taking the test. :P

On a more serious note, that’s terrible. You won’t even get to enjoy your summer now. Wow I feel so bad for you guys. But maybe the exams would be easier. Chem this year was terrible :/

Oh and anyone reading this from Cowladge Bord…the above part was a joke so cool your pants.

You should get compensated for emotional harassment from collegeboard.

It’s funny how collegeboard claims they are a “non profit” organization, if that were true, we wouldnt be paying almost $50 an exam, and the fact that the school pays for majority of the AP exams (at least in my area, NJ), is bull. We spend a crap load of money on that, and it’d suck if you guys had to pay for your retakes (which you hopefully wont have to take)

why exactly did they get canceled?

Did they find the person who stole the tests?

found this, if anyone’s interested
http://i55.■■■■■■■.com/14akl6q.jpg

Wow that’s terrible! I couldn’t imagine doing that, but at the same time, if you don’t take the exams in August, I don’t know how much slack colleges will give you. This is a sucky situation and hopefully you all do well on the exams at the later date. Best of luck!

Oh wow. Cut a hole in the roof? That’s…wow.

Only in a pretty Asian-filled area in SoCal would this occur, LOL. This would never happen where I live, about 30 miles to the east, where Asians are a super-super-minority.

Holy dang… O__________O

@314159265 I think a pretty Asian-filled area in SoCal would have all super competitive, yet smart Asians who would be able to handle actually taking the tests. ;)

And wow your situation is horrible!!! But that’s the thing… life can be unexpected, at least this isn’t something even more important like… being hit by a car and dying, seriously.

“Cut a hole in the roof?”

I know, sounds like something from a movie.

@hero - $50 an exam? You must get some fee waiver as the price for AP exams is I think this year at $86 per exam.

^At our school, the price is $95 per exam.

Our school charges the normal $87. If you’re on the free/reduced lunch program, the cost is $5 per test. Some financial aid is offered.
