I know I sent my AP scores to UCLA and supposedly they didn't receive my scores either...

Hey, Will they do anything if we signed up to take the math diagnostic test but don't take it in the end?

I received mines in the mail today. That's pretty fast compare to last year.

Rasenganx go to my ucla orientation and you can change it there.

is anyone petitioning into a lower class here?

funnyman, im petitioning to get into math 3b, which is one lower than what AP credit gets me out of

54 credits w00t!

did anyone get their alternate exam scores posted? or even in their reports mailed in at home yet? My friend and I have yet to know our alt. Biology scores...

Neo Yoyo, did you get your four? I got a 4 on AB, and thought it got me out of 31A. OMG I forgot all my calculus and whatever math I learned before then...it's been a year...gahh four days to review!

How does a petition work? I got 4 on AB and i want to be in 3A so i fill out a petition at orientation but then how/when would they switch me into 3A?

iliketodomath: i think only a five on the AB test pass you out of 3A, not a four...so you don't have to petition to take 3A

iliketodomath: We have to take the math diagnostic test if we want to be placed in Math 3A.

Does anyone know how many credits we need to receive sophomore standing? I heard its around 48?

i think i asked b4, but i totally forgot

According to the UCLA website, class standings are:
Seniors (135+ units)
Juniors (90-134.9 units)
Sophomores (45-89.9 units)
Freshmen (0-44.9 units)

So, to have sophomore standing, you must have 45 units, including AP and transferred units.

As an incoming freshman, how can I check how many units I have (from college classes/AP credit)?

Go to the URSA website:

https://www.ursa.ucla.edu/Default.asp

Put in your info and then click on the Degree Progress Report, and it will show you how many units of credit you have already, based on your AP scores.

I called UCLA earlier and they told me that they will be inputting the community college units later in the summer, but before school begins in September, as they are still processing transferring students' transcripts.
