AP scores on myBama

Does anyone know where the AP scores will post on myBama?
Will they post before the student reports are sent in the mail?

Ah Catfan! I’m waiting too. I am assuming that they will show up in Degreeworks, but I’m not 100% sure. Just checked & they’re not there yet. (Tapping foot impatiently :)

They do not post the scores on DegreeWorks. They post a pass/fail grade and the number of credits awarded. So, you need to wait for the scores (they should be out around July 15 or so) or you can pay the $8 when calling College Board to find out your scores. My son did that three straight years – he just couldn’t wait any longer.

I know some colleges have posted AP credit on their student portals already. Just wondering when UA will. Not as concerned about scores as seeing if credit is earned. Calculus in particular. waiting…waiting…

I’m with Catfan; I really just want to see the credit applied. And we’re wondering about Chemistry…

I hate giving College Board that extra $8 (I know, in the grand scheme of things it’s nothing, but jeez it’s 2010! Why aren’t they online? End of rant :)

My son’s previous AP courses are not listed on myBama. Only his previous college credit. He took four AP tests this year, but he has four AP scores from the previous two years. How do we make sure all his AP credit is put into Degree Works?

Once all the AP scores get to Alabama, they will be placed into DegreeWorks. No need to worry. It may take a few days for everything to show on the transcript.

Montegut…

Did your son list Bama as the recipient for his AP scores last May?

If so, then they all will get electronically sent this month. Bama then has to upload them into their system.

However, if last year you son didn’t list Bama when he took his AP scores, then that’s why those scores don’t show yet. However, those previous scores will get sent this month with his 2010 AP scores.

If your son didn’t list Bama as the recipient last May, then you’ll have to have the scores sent.
