AP Scores On Myberkeleyapp

Go to “Academic Record” and then “Degree Audit Request” on the right. Request a new audit and then open it. Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Academic History by Semester”.

Mine still aren’t there :confused: thanks though! When did yours become available?

Sometime between 5 A.M. and noon.

WAIT MINE ARE UP! Is it the number in the third column?

Yes it is. :slight_smile: It should say something like 5.3 or 2.7 (for the credits earned), followed by your score…

Okay thank you! Passed them all…whew! Sadly a 4 on lit, but so it goes!

Lolz…passed almost all of them. Darn you Latin: Vergil (I knew I had no hope) and Econ (fun class…not much learning lolz)

So I just took a look at the AP Pass calculator. Apparently you have to have less than half the total possible points to get a 3 on the Calc BC exam. Something is definitely up - I wasn’t confident about some of the MC’s and one FRQ but I don’t think I messed up THAT badly :confused: I also took a few practice tests and never did that badly on any of them. Should I request a rescore?

Will it matter for getting out of a class that you want to skip? Unit-wise, 3’s are okay, but if you want to pass out of a class that you need a higher grade for, request a rescore.

I was hoping to get out of Math 1B at UCB. I’ve always been a strong math student - A’s in all math courses, 800 on the SAT Math section, 790 on the Math II subject test… so this 3 seems a little out of line to me. Plus the fact that I checked the correct FRQ answers in the AP forum right after I took the test and agreed with most of them… hmmmm. I think I’ll go ahead and bite the bullet and pay for a rescore.

I got my scores now. Glad I’m out if math1b. Too bad I still got to take English r1b.

Mine still won’t show up…

In my DARS, it says Math BC 5.3 5. Did I get a 5?

@mickjagger, yes. 5.3 is the amount of units you got for it, 5 is the score.

Calgirl15. My situation is quite the opposite of yours.

3 in Lit when I have 5s in nearly all my other APs (including calc). I had 4 in Lang last year and a 750 in writing but I consider myself to be a far better writer now. I did have the 2nd worst teacher of all of hs to teach my lit, but I thought I wrote great essays on the FRQ that averaged 2 pages in my medium sized handwriting.

Since this is tangent, what were your thesis for the first two?

I don’t remember what I wrote anymore, but I do remember thinking that the FRQ’s weren’t very hard. The MC’s were also really easy. Then again, I’m also a language person so I’m not surprised.

I just checked AP Pass again and entered in the rough MC score I predicted for myself after the test, and put zeroes for all the FRQ’s. It came out to be a 3. So I’m wondering whether they somehow lost my FRQ responses along the way. Grrrrr… the College Board is really getting on my nerves!

@Berkeleyhopeful
I too got 5’s on my AP’s except for lit for which I got a 3. I got a 4 also in language. Except I kind of knew I was getting a 3 on lit. More of a number person.

I recall changing the booklet number/letter/whatever-it-was on my Lit MC sheet after I asked my proctor what to write for it. I wrote out the whole thing, though I don’t remember what it was. On my other MC sheets, I didn’t write it all out so for a while, I speculated that the grading computer might have read my MC as if it was another variant.

I was convinced this was the reason I didn’t get my predicted 4 or 5 and also my motivation for making my previous post. However, I now seriously doubt this.

Reasons I am/you are probably wrong (so we can stop letting this bother us)

 1. Arrogance: I mis-predicted 3 other scores which turned out to be higher. Why not the other way around.
 2. Un-reliability of AP Pass Calc: The composite-score cutoffs for scoring change every year. This is the first year without the penalty for incorrect guessing. Thus, their calculations are only extrapolations.

@youcrazyboy
Haha nice. Same here. This is so dissapointing because I thought my language skills are nearly on par with my math skills. Maybe I mearly got lucky last year, but this 3 is the only 3 I have and will ever recieve. It makes me sad. =(
Oh well I’m very proud of my 5s in STEM subjects and my random 5 in gov.

can i just say that i started my last essay for the lang and comp exam with 10min left and still got a 4 lol. i am quite happy with myself right now, i was sure that i bombed it because that essay definitely sucked.

my scores from other years were not up there…should i be worried?

Does DAR show all your AP Exams you have taken so far? Or just the ones you took this year & qualified for your major?
