calc AB - 5
biology - 5

woohoo!!!

sarorah, i wouldn't know if government was hard or not. When I found out that the college I'm going to doesn't accept AP Gov scores for credit, and that there were alotta essays on the test, and that the book I was reading at the time was really good, the factors coupled to make it so that I didn't answer any questions on the test. Bright side- i finished my book :)
Besides, I like that one--it adds...variety!
Hahaha

lol, yeah I understand, a good grade couldn't have helped help anyway. My dad woulda told me to do the same thing. It's good to see a pretty much 5 AP student not care about a 1. Really that's good, a lot of kids here freak out over a 4.

You shouldn't have taken it! You can get $69 back if you decide not to take it before it's opened. That happened a LOT at my school this year.

really? huh i was never aware of that!! My principal yelled at me when I asked if I could cancel it, she never said anything about partial refunds. :( Elizabeth, why couldn't you have told me this in April! lol jk oh well I still have the variety and it didn't hurt my parents, since I pay for my own AP tests.
Yea I can understand why kids get upset at a 4...if this had been junior year, I would have been bummed at getting a 1.

USH- 4
Lit- 3

lol shoot Harvard!

Yeah, I'll be going there, but they do strange stuff like that. Congratulations alO! I guess both of us thought that 24 was a good number to stop at. By the way, what were all the exams you took?

And as for the grad school thing, people did suggest that after a while, but I guess I'll just do some advanced standing and special stuff, like double degrees or majors.

eep! ::mad grin::

...its a joke... V is the Roman Numeral of 5... get it... latin joke? haha?

::sigh::

AP Calc AB- 5

No worries, I picked up on your Latin joke. What author did you choose on your Latin Lit exam?

4 - AP US Government and Politics
4 - AP English Literature and Composition

""Haha I haven't found out my scores from this year, but just to make everyone feel better, I got into my first choice school with a 2 on one of my exams last year"

"Getting a 2 isn't supposed to hurt your chances for admissions. It just means you don;t get college credits.""

Yes, but some people are freaking out a whole lot, and many people frantically decide that their poor scores will hurt them. We are basically saying the same thing - that bad scores on AP tests won't hurt chances for admission (to be fair, I only had one poor score, in French.)

(re: Elizabeth22)

i haven't taken Latin lit yet, just Vergil. the way our school does it is that we have one Latin AP class (Latin 4 and 5 merged) and we alternate every year.

So I as a junior read Vergil, and as a senior will read Catullus and Ovid.

its a 4 average. im an AP national scholar B*TCHES! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Yeah, I pretty much got the suckiest scores here. Oh well... they're not bad scores compared to the national average lol.

did you read the rest of the posts, sleepisabliss? Your scores are very good... congratulations.

As for the "2 not affecting admissions decisions," I completely agree that it doesn't, but last year I was made to believe that my chances at getting into Duke were hurt by it. Actually, I was told that I had a very slim chance of getting in due to all of my standardized testing... guess I proved them wrong. Moral of the story: don't worry about a stupid 2.
