anyway, 4 or 5, what's the difference? both receive college credit at most places. it's just personal pride, i guess.

not if you're going ivy. a 4 only suffices universally for select science APs (like chem).

5 Chem
5 French lang
5 English lit

Ironic that this is the first year that I've gotten an unblemished AP report, and it's too late to show to colleges.

5 English Lang.
5 US History
4 Calc AB

Not too shabby. Kinda was hoping for a 5 on calc, but whatever.

Did people in ny get scores today cuz i didnt get mine

Missouri got it today...

Chemistry: 5
Physics C Mechanics: 5
Physics C E&M: 5
World History: 5
English Literature: 5
Psychology: 5
Environmental Science: 5
Macroecon: 5
Microecon: 5
Spanish Language: 3, :-(

in addition to the ones from this year, 5s on Calc BC, Statistics, Comp Sci A, US History, US Govt, and Biology from the last 2 years...

Mine suck:

APUSH: 4
AP Eng. Lang: 3
AP Macro: 3
AP Micro: 2
AP Stats: 2

I'm doomed! Now I need to know how much carisprodol it takes to o.d......

jk

next year im going to ba junior. i don't know if i should take ap statz or ap us?? or even both? are they owrth taking or just take the regular classes and get the better grade

NEVER take the easier class for the better grade... i repeat NEVER

colleges will wonder why you didn't take AP if you had an A in the regular course...

a college prefers students w/ lower grades and more challenging classes than a student w/ an easy schedule...

however, if regular classes are any struggle, than an AP will just frustrate you... the best advice is to take the most challening school load that is reasonable and will not stress you out

bio-5
spanish-5
calcab-5
calcbc-5
stats-5
comp sci-not available......................................im guessing 2 or 3

nyrep- i havent

ryan- we're both from atl, so tom. as soon as you know post if you got your scores... just b/c i'll be ****ed if you got yours and i didn't get mine, but i still want to know

I got a 4 on the biology one..this was very upseting because i was completely sure that I was getting a 5...I mean, getting 60% right shouldn't have been that hard..I don't understand.. v_v

oh well.
But as a student aiming for the IVY Leagues, I am now worried about this score. Do the IVYs or the colleges at the similar level really only look for 5s? So would this AP score be ineffective when I apply to colleges? Would it even be a bad score to submit?

this year i got:

4 micro econ
4 english lit
1 physics b (LOL)

before...

4 bio
4 spanish
5 calc ab
3 us history

Vtoodler:

Yes, why? Do you find it to be an un-attractive pasttime?

I'm so nervous... I'm daring to hope for 3s on my tests... 2 on Chem. So yes, I saw that Missouri had gotten scores. Anyone in IL or elsewhere in the Midwest?

I heard Ohio, michigan, and indiana received them. Cmon Georgia.

^^^
Thanks. Hopefully mine should be in today.

I'm from Illinois...

5 in US History
3 in Physics B

finally (ohio, obviously)...

5 us history
