AP Scores! Post your scores!

*!@#$ ... um. i might get over it, but i'm mad.

Caculus AB - 3
US History - 3
US Government - 3

Thought I had a 4 on US History, but US Govt is what gets me. I thought I was a lock for a 5. I don't even remember having problems with any Q's or FR's.
They don't rescore AP tests ever ... ... do they?

Oh well.

AP Euro: 5
US History: 5
English Lang: 5
Bio: 5
Calc AB: 5

You know what's really cool? When I'm filling out the scores on my form, you put the score, then the date by month/year. My chart looks like 5 5/05, 5 5/05, 5 5/05....

chochocho: Call AP Services - they should be able to help you.

tkm: I guess that is really cool to you 'cause you can see those awesome lists of 5s.

I haven't gotten my AP music theory score yet. They don't usually come after all the other scores are sent, but AP services said mine was coming in the mail. But... it isn't here! What do I do, should I call them or something?

AP US: 3
AP English Lang: 4

Ha and I so expected a 2 on the APUS test

elphaba, u should definitely contact collegeboard. its over 2 months past may!!

Thanks, actually I've been gone most of the summer and as unbelievable as it sounds, I actually kinda forgot about it! I only took the test because I've done a heck of a lot of theory in my life, I sing, I've played violin since I was 4, etc. I don't really care about my score, but I'm pretty mad at the collegeboard for just forgetting to send that score out.

Hee Hee , I feel like posting my other scores.

AP US: 5
AP Language:5

hm. weird. I'm in the same boat. I got all the rest of my scores, except music theory, which had a (*) saying it'll come in 3 weeks.. it's definitely been more than 3 weeks...
I did send CB an email about 2 days ago about it. still waiting...

Chem - 3 (which for me, is a freaking miracle)
US - 5
French Lang - 4
Eng Lang - 4

I was pretty proud until I saw these other scores.....whoa boy....

ah...so THIS is what happened to my exam:

http://img390.imageshack.us/img390/6703/apmt1bu.jpg

did anyone else's FRQ section get Lost?

that sucks really. so what u gonna do? if u want to be national scholar then i suppose u have to take it.

well, i already have 8 now (last year I took one and got a 4) so I'm already a Nat'l scholar. I'll be taking it again nonetheless. whew. now I actually have a chance to get a 4!! (i was predicting a 2 or so for my MT score)

i have a question for u. is it worth taking a bunch of APs and getting 3s and 4s just to be a national scholar not that u only got 3 and 4s. i know it's not worth it for me a rising senior but just curious

well, getting 3's won't help you w/ becoming a nat'l scholar.
Idk. when I heard about the award (!) I made that my Junior year goal, and I strove for it. Now that I think about it, I'm more appealed by taking credit for many of the courses in college more than the award. We'll see how the award helps in admissions nextyear.

Lol, I didn't make it my junior year goal. I just found out about it after I took my tests and hoped for the best. I took 3 my soph year, so I guess it shoulda been easy to take 5 or 6 more... Eh, oh well.

imiracle - you need 4's on 8 exams PLUS an average grade of 4 or above on all exams taken.

It took me so long to completely understand what CB said in its description :P.

I was planning on self studying environmental science sophomore year already because that's what I want to pursue in college, and I was already taking 6 AP's (1 sophomore year, 5 planned for junior year) so I figured I might as well take another one, so I self studied bio.

Now, however, due to a scheduling conflict, I'm taking 4 AP classes, so I'm going to self study Psych, and maybe HumGeog/Stats/USGov just for backup.

But I still met my junior year goal :).

Back then, I was scared of having no awards on my application, so I decided to go for the National AP Scholar award. Now, after some thought, I've found out that I really do have some accomplishments :P. But hey, it can't hurt, right? It's only $90 (my school charges extra).

danielsjang, I have a feeling that's what happened to mine. Did they send you that letter after you e-mailed them about your score not arriving or before?

ah jeez, i forgot my old login stuff, haha. oh well. i just got my ap scores yesterday :.. i called collegeboard 2weeks ago cause i didn't want to pay an extra $8 to find out, haha. So here they are :P

Subject: Missing Exam

Hello!

I took several AP tests this year May (2005) and got all of my scores
except one, which was Music Theory. On its spot for the score, it had
an asterik said the score for this exam would come within three weeks.
It's been (nearly..) three weeks and I was wondering...if I should wait
more for the score. Thanks!

-Dan Jang

PS. My SS# is *********, if it helps track who I am and the status of
the Music Theory score
