I read somewhere that AP scores are self-reported. But I'm only a sophomore, don't know where I want to go to college, so no colleges received my score. When you're applying to college, how do you send them your AP scores? Make a copy of your personal score report and send it? Or they won't get it at all because when you took the test you didn't put down what colleges should receive the scores? I'm confused. Or do I have to call the College Board and get them to send the scores to the colleges? Help! I think I really screwed up.

you don't send your scores to colleges when you're applying. you self-report your scores on your application, yes, meaning that you write in "i got this score on this test" etc etc in the little section they have for AP scores. after your senior year, you send a score report (which includes all the APs you've taken throughout high school) to the school you've decided to attend, so that they can give you credit.

If you take an AP Test your senior year, the score report to your college will include all of the AP tests you have ever taken.

Is there anything better about sending ap score reports once every year or just that one time senior year where all the AP test scores ever taken will be sent? Is an earlier time better or anything?

thanks for all your help! I'm new to this, so I was really confused.
