I know for my school they put AP test scores on our transcripts and I think that's the general norm though your school could very well be different. It's not necessary to put scores down on your app, nobody really did in our school [I didn't b/c my teacher referred to the one score I had in my rec] and the others didn't bother consider they had 1's or 2's [since our chem teacher was fired for burning two students in a lab], but if there's a space for AP test scores you should definitely put it [though I believe the common app doesn't have space though some supplements do]. So I hope that clears up some stuff, though sorry for being so all over the place.

they are not necessary at all to put down on applications. however if you got a score of 3, 4, or 5 you should put it down. yes put the 3. them knowing you got a 3 is better than them thinking you took it and got a 1 or 2 or you didn't take it at all.

also SOME schools do have transcripts where the AP test score is reported. my high school has a two page transcript, the first page is all of your grades and classes taken. the second page is all of your state test scores and AP test scores. this is because the school pays for all kids who took AP classes to take the AP test, it's mandatory, so i think that's why our school reports it... your school is probably different.

thankss for the infooo : )

Not all schools put your scores on your transcript.. I'm at least pretty sure mine doesn't, and it's not "weird" school or anything. In order to get them sent to colleges (that don't have self reporting), I had to send the grades directly via cb.
