AP scores withhold?

If I chose not to self report 2’s and 3’s on the common app, should I have the scores withheld before sending the official report to the college for credit? Or will it not matter since I was already admitted?

Won’t matter because you’ve been admitted.

Thank you. This saves the hassle of filing and paying for withholding scores. I figured it would not affect anything except not getting credit for those 2 low scores. They are unrelated to my major. I am sure the college knows that unreported scores likely meant low scores when applying. I just did not want them to take away my admission!

As no school (afaik) requires an official report to apply, and low scores only mean no earning credit for admitted students, I can’t think of a reason anyone would pay to use the withhold/cancel scores function.

I suppose if you’re craving an AP Scholar award, or some odd scholarship has a requirement.

You have to send in to get credit. You won’t for a two but depending on your school, you may get credit for the three. If it’s unrelated to your major, then it’s a bonus if it knocks out a general ed class.
