Ap scores!

Hey guys,
Do you guys think the ap scores won't come out while we are registering for the classes during orientation 101?
AHH im screwed if that's true, coz I did my AP calc exam this year, and so if the scores don't come out by then,,,,,yeap...does that mean I can't sign up for Math 31A?

Helppppp :/

I’m calling for my AP scores on July 1 and it’s only $8… I took calculus too

yea, but the 101 is from june 28 til 30th…

Well, are you confident that you got a 5 (assuming you took Calc AB exam)? Then I would suggest telling your counselor about it.

yea, thanx Tatztastic! i should try that.

Your new student advisor will NOT accept any unsolicited AP scores. This means they must be delivered in an official capacity…counselors will not accept verbal statements at all.

^true. I don’t think you need AP scores for Math 31A. You just need to have done decent in the SAT portions of math or take some math test at UCLA to pass out of quantitative analysis. You do need AP scores for Math 31B/32A/3B/3C.

No, you must take a Math diagnostic exam before you can enroll into Math 31A or Math 3A. If you do not have a 5 on Calc AB or a 4 or 5 on Calc BC you MUST take the exam. You can take this test either during Orientation or during the Fall quarter.

And this is even if you get a 800 on the SAT Reasoning Math portion or subject tests.

I think your AP score should be sent to UCLA soon… I saw my status changed on July the 3rd, and you may check myUCLA :)
