AP Scores

Would a 4 on an AP but an A in the class show grade inflation at the school?

Possibly, but unlikely. If you got a 3, that would be a different story.

Nah, a 4 is actually a good score.

It would depend on the class. But for the most part, a 4 shouldn’t hurt you.

4 is fine with an a or b. Any other grade would show a discrepancy between grades and scores.

What is with all this talk about GPA inflation and AP scores?

Just because you got below a 5 on an AP test does not mean your A was inflated. Your A may have consisted of lots of tests, presentations, projects, etc (notice how I said MAY). Can’t people realize you just had a bad day. Keep in mnd, I’m not saying GPA inflation does not exist. I’m just saying we should not always have that as our conclusion just because it does not match a test grade.
