AP Scores

Well, I still am waiting for a scholarship.
No $$$ + UM loss in Alamo Bowl + OSU win in Feista= I'm not attending UM
I was wondering if UM even considers my AP scores. Nowhere on the application did it ask for AP scores and I don't know if it was clear on my transcript. I think that my scores (8 fives and 1 three) could make a difference. Is there a way I can notify them? Alex? Hoedown? Anybody?

I don't think any school is really allowed to use AP scores as a basis for admission, including U of M. Your grades are supposed to indicate achievement, and your test scores are supposed to indicate aptitude, and though I think AP scores are a sweet combination of the two, most schools figure they have you figured out already without those. With those AP scores, I figure you'll have no trouble getting into U of M, but they won't help you with scholarships, even if you did notify them. And I'm glad OSU won the Fiesta bowl cuz Notre Dame was the most overrated team ever, I couldn't wait til the world saw how badly they'd get pounded by a decent Big Ten team.

I never got the impression that AP tests were a factor. They'll help you get credit and/placement if you're admitted and enroll, of course.

Darn, that was one bright spot on my resume. It's weird that they don't even consider AP scores. All the other schools I'm applying to ask for the scores.
I totally agree that ND is pretty overrated, and so is Weis. That wasn't a revival they had. Willingham had more success during his first year, winning 8 straight. And Weis still has not won a bowl game. This I found interesting: ND has beat just three teams over .500 this season. That's sad.
Is there anything else I can send in to UM to boost my sship chances?

what???? dude don't rip on ND when they're goin against OSU alright lol...ND beat UM, and ALMOST beat USC...they may be a bit overrated but they are good and will be good for some time now.

I really don't get how someone like you got into the university.

ha ha ha......

a2wolves6 1 manguo 0

Yeah... I understand the money thing...but the football team!?!?!?!?!?

You must realize that one of the reasons I applied to UM was for football. I wanted to apply to one quality public school. It came down to UM, Berkeley, UVA, and UNC. For football it came down to UM and Berkeley. Football is the factor that sent UM over the fence.
We'll see just how good ND is when Penn State (my favorite) visits them. I'm calling PSU by 27 now!!!
I sometimes just get really bored and say some stupid things, A2Wolves.
Now, back to the whole merit scholarships thing.

sometimes?

Why do you care about getting merit money if you are sure you are not going to the U of M

When did I say that I don't want to go to UM? Sure, it's not my favorite school, but I think that I would be happy going there.
I like getting you all riled up.

The quote was: "No $$$ + UM loss in Alamo Bowl + OSU win in Feista= I'm not attending UM". With "No $$$", I meant no merit scholarships. With a chunk of money, UM is definitely in consideration.
BTW, how do you do those cool quote things?

you type this:

<quote> stuff you want to quote </quote>

only replace those sideways-v brackets with square brackets (the keys to the right of the P, lowercase.)
