AP Scores

Of the AP tests you have taken, what have your scores been? Did you feel prepared for the test?

I’ve taken AP Human, AP Environmental, and AP Bio so far; I am taking five other APs currently as a junior. I’ve received 4s on all three exams, and I felt prepared for each. I had good teachers and helpful review books, and I think I grasped the material in each course fairly well.

I took AP Environmental, AP HuG, AP Lang, AP Gov and AP Psych last year. I passed 4/5 with three 4s, one 3, and one 2. I didn’t pass English because I honestly didn’t care and I got bored during the essays. I felt like I wasn’t prepared for APES, but somehow passed. The rest of them I felt prepared for.

I took AP US History AP Bio and AP Chem, I got fives on all three but didn’t feel equally prepared for all of them. Our APUSH teacher was really dedicated as well as an all around good teacher, and in addition to this the class was 3 semesters long so we could go very in depth. So for APUSH I felt thoroughly prepared. For chem and bio, however, the teachers didn’t care and didn’t prepare any students very well. These were much more difficult and I didn’t feel as well prepared. It’s honestly all about the teacher for me.

I’ve taken AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, AP Calc AB, AP Bio, AP Chem, and AP World History. I received 5’s on all of them but only felt completely prepared for AP Bio. I took APHG and APES freshman year so naturally I was super nervous for my first AP exams. Calc, Bio, Chem, and WH were all taken this past year and I was most prepared for Bio, then Calc, then Chem, then WH.

AP US Gov - 5

I took AP World and AP Bio last year and got 5s on both. I was much more prepared for AP Bio, but after taking the tests, I felt pretty much equally good about my performance on both. World was much easier than I thought it would be, and luckily, I knew a lot about the essays.

I took APUSH and AP Lang last year, both 3’s. I felt pretty prepared for the Lang test, and I think I got a little cocky which ended up hurting me. On the other hand, I felt like APUSH was a shot in the dark. I really didn’t learn anything in the class and was prepared to fail the exam, but I crammed a lot the night before (as dumb as it sounds, that’s the way I study/remember best) and ended up just passing. I honestly was expecting a 2 at best. I’m pretty sure it was my writing that saved me though.

Oh and this year, I will be taking AP Gov, AP Lit, and AP Calc AB. I’m taking the AP Psych class, but I’m not sure if I’m going to take the test or not at this point.
