So, I sent in application for Trinity. My question is about self reporting AP scores. My scores weren't very good(a few 3's), but I still managed to get AP Scholar with Distinction. On my application, I did not self-report any of my AP scores, but still put down AP Scholar with Distinction under honors. Is this ok? What will Duke think?

honestly, they may ask for some kind of proof from you to back it up. If you put AP Scholar with Distinction and yet don’t report your AP scores, it makes them wonder why you didn’t put it down. Maybe find another honor that you are proud of that you would be able to be more transparent about.

I don’t think AP awards even hold that much weight anymore because so many applicants have them. It’s like saying you’re on your school’s honor roll which I would hope for if you are applying to Duke. And since AP scores aren’t really used as an admission factor, don’t worry about not sending your scores. You’ll only have to send AP scores when you know what college you’re going to.
