AP Scores

I received a 3 on the new, redesigned APUSH exam. (I was expecting higher…but I am proud of myself for passing the challenging new test).

Is a 3 a good score? Should I send that score to colleges?

3 is usually not enough to waive college credit. 3 is not a “stellar” score, but it is reasonable. It is a passing score (I got a 5 after cramming all 400 years of American history the night before), and if you want to send it as proof you took the test, go ahead. Don’t leave colleges hanging there thinking you didn’t take the test. If you send, there is a small chance for warnings of grade inflation, but not much.
