AP Scores

Why doesn't Berkeley have them in already? I heard UCLA had it..

The Berkerely Bureaucracy loves torturing us, that's all...

You should get yours in the mail soon. I got mine today.

<a href="http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/faq/ap.html%5B/url%5D">http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/faq/ap.html</a></p>

for L&S majors

Someone please clear this up for me.
So, if I got a 3 on AP Eng Lit, that means that I already have 5.3 units under my belt, even though I have not started courses at Cal?

Is this true?

Nope. You need to take R1A and R1B at Cal (For College of Engineering)

UNLESS:

1) You got 4 or 5 on AP Eng. Comp.
2) Take/took a course at local community college equivalent to R1A at Cal. Check assist.org.

I think what she was asking is whether or not she gets UNITS for the AP score-- not whether or not she is exempt from classes.

I got a 5 on both parts of Physics C AP. But i had gotten a 5 on Physics B AP last year already, and the max combined for physics is 5.3. So hence physics C had no real effect for me--units wise. perhaps it may get rid of some prerequisites.

Nothing in the mail, nothing online. And who knows if the USPS will deliver on July 4th..?

Jhg888--yes, I was wondering if I get UNITS for passing my tests.

But, you did get 5.3 units right off the bat for passing Physics C, right? I got a 3 on AP Eng Lit, AP Calc, and AP Spanish. So, I got 5.3 units for Eng and Span and 2.7 units for Spanish. So, I start off frosh year with 13.3 units?

I suck, I only got a 3 on AP Physics C Mechanics, and I didn't take Electromagnetism. Doesn't matter, I'm a damn political science major! And the USPS won't deliver on the 4th.

Argh no mail and no website update either..

hmmm... have u called them to get your scores? It costs like 7 dollars tho

Wait...how do we send them in?

Yay I got my scores via mail today. 5 on AP gov&pol and 5 on calc bc

congrats on the great ap scores. Did anyone did A LOT worse than they expected? my ap scores are horrible....

Yeah, I got 1 grade lower than I was hoping for in English Lit, Calc AB, and Spanish Lit... Oh well!

I wanted a 5 on AP Government US, got a 4 (I was ****ED!), got a 3 on Calculus AB and a 3 on AP Literature...I kinda screwed around in Calculus, so whatever, but I was surprised on the AP Lit score, really looking at a 5, at least a 4. And a 3 on AP Physics C Mechanics (didn't take Electromagnetism), doesn't matter that class is always hard. Oh well, senior year is always a bit of a slide anyways, but I really thought I had National AP Scholar going for me (I needed at least all 4s this year, obviously didn't get it), so I'm just AP Scholar with Distinction (five 4s, three 3s). Good enough for a Mexican anyways.

no worries! i'm filipino......ya kno....came from hs with students going to college less than 50%.... only 3 people going to berkeley not to say my hs is bad its not bad !

SO
i got a 1 on my ap french lang... :O 3 on ap lit, 3 on macro...4 chem...

taking math 1a at a jc this summer :O 6 wk course omg. -_-

anyhoo i dont blame myself...

anybody else sent their transcript and it still says "not received?"

mine says not received i sent it though a week earlier and as well as my ap scores its still not there :O

if u mark the college ur sending it to on the day u took the test u dont have to send it again dontcha?

dude my chem class at jc is 8 weeks long, u have it easy.

5 on AP Bio, 4's on Comp Sci, Govt, and Eng Lit. Im so ****ed about Eng Lit though. I got a 4 on Eng Lang last year also. Damn it.

5 on AP US Gov't, Comp Gov't, Macro, Micro, Calc AB. Very surprised I got a 4 on Physics C: Mech, cause I didn't know crap on FRQ. Not surprised I failed E&M (I mean ***, I understood nothing).
