AP Scores

So after recieving my AP scores in the mail yesterday, im wondering how UVA looks at the scores. So far Ive gotten a 5 on all the exams ive taken, AP MEH, AP World Hist, and AP US. I took MEH and US as a class, and taught myself World History. I dont really plan on studying history in college so i dont care so much about credit, rather as about how they are looked at in the admission process. Are AP exams looked at with the same weight as SAT subject tests, or do they not play a role at all in admissions?

I'm not sure about not playing a role at all, but they are definitely nowhere near as weighty as the subject tests.

AP Tests aren't an important factor during admission but probably after admission when you are registering for classes because it will allow you to get credits for certain classes.

anyone else know anything about this? if your ap scores aren't that great, would it hurt you in admissions?

AP scores are not an important factor in admissions. Most schools do not even consider them.

especially since you might be taking ap's your senior year after you have applied for admission

AP scores really don't matter unless you are applying to an Ivy League school or a quasi-Ivy school.

what about for UVA?

wmalum, that's not true.
