AP scores

how much do colleges consider your AP scores from junior/senior year of high school if you're trying to transfer?

Depends on the school. Some colleges will only allow AP scores to knock off elective credit. Some colleges let you use the AP scores to knock off the actual subject you tested for.

but i mean, does it have a bearing on admissions? do they ask for your AP scores and use them as a factor in admissions along with your other test scores?

For schools who use AP scores for electives, no they don't put much consideration on it. For schools who do use AP scores for the actual subject, yes there do consider it. They will not apply it to the GPA though.

To be clear, your application is solely based off your overall GPA, pre reqs completed/GPA, and ge classes completed. That is in the order of importance. Your AP scores might knock off some classes you need to complete to transfer.

From an admission perspective:
B in Biology @ Community College > 5 on AP Bio Test

thank you!
