You can find out your AP scores ahead of time by going to uportal.cornell.edu. click on the student tab. then scroll down to the grades section and click. then push spring 2007 and it says Advanced Placement. click get grades and there are your scores. only two of mine showed up and they were a 4 and a 5. my other one didn't show up which must mean i didn't score high enough to get credit.

What, I could've saved $8...

it doesn't work for me... it only shows Fall 2007

Seven of the 9 tests i took (from all 3 years) show up...but the final grade column is blank...is that where the scores are supposed to be?

mine's not up yet

Actually now that I actually checked, it's not working for mine either.

only fall 2007 shows up for me but thanks for posting this in any case

lol i guess i bombed mine..no credit

In mine, the final grade column had "05" and "04". I'm not sure if one of your tests doesn't show up if that means you didn't score high enough to get credit. We should be getting the official reports in the mail soon, though.

mine lists all my tests from last yr and 4/6 from this yr but no grades appear at all even my 4s and 5s from last yr...so im assuming the grades just rnt up yet..ironically though (or maybe not), the two classes that are missing from this year are spanish and art history which were most likely 2s!!

I definitely scored high enough in mine, as I found out, but I still don't see them.

Sweet, now the scores for my seven tests shown show up and i found out that the tests that don't show up aren't given credit at cornell...so considering that those of us in engineering only get credit for calc BC and not AB, i already have 22 credits...not bad.

holla:

us hist - 5
eng lit & comp - 5
biology - 4

so do I have a bunch of credit already?

does cornell give credit for art history AP? (i got a 4 btw) i don't see it on their list (http://www.admissions.cornell.edu/downloads/adv_placement_intl_credentials.pdf), which is odd considering they did list subjects like human geography, world history, and studio art that receive no credits at all.

i'm sorry but art history AP is not given credit at most colleges...just like world history isnt either...

you can ask but i dont think cornell awards credit :<

your english AP score can be used to get out of 1 semester of writing seminar...you still gonna need a semester...

the biology credit will depend on your major...best person to ask is your college's registrar...

I really want to take a full writing seminar, though.

I'm looking at transferring into the English department from CALS; are there any other ways that my AP score ease my transition?

I still don't have any of my scores lol

juxtaposn: a writing seminar is hit or miss...you might love reading/writing but trust me the majority of people at cornell called me lucky for getting out of 1 writing seminar...
