ap scores?

where do i list my ap scores on the columbia app? can i attach an additional sheet listing them?

I dont think there was any place for ap scores.
For me, I could send mine from school with the transcript, but from what i know they do not take ap scores into consideration.

well...mine are on my transcript, but i just wanted to emphasize the fact that i self-studied for one of them...stupid i guess

So they're not submitted? I was assuming that was the case.

There is no place on Columbia's application to report AP scores. Columbia will tell you the same thing as most schools--that AP scores are not required for admission. However, as with almost every other school, you can decide on your own to have the College Board send your AP scores to Columbia. Undergraduate admissions will receive the score report and put it with your file. So while they say your AP scores are not "officially" considered for admission, good scores could be a plus for you should you decide to send them.

If you want admissions to know that you self-studied for one of the AP exams (regardless of whether you send the scores or not), that sounds like something I'd ask my guidance counselor to put in her letter. In addition to saying what a kickass kid you are, your counselor rec can (and probably should) include some mention of any special cases among the courses and exams you've taken.
