Are AP scores not looked at in admissions?!

I never sent mine or self-reported them cause I thought I had sent them to UF when I took the tests but it turns out I didn't.. I just called UF to see if I could still self-report them and the guy told me AP scores aren't looked at in admissions, but I should send them if I find out I'm accepted.. but I just want to make sure. Did you guys send your scores?

What? That's a load of *. I did a whole *ing *load of damn work and now you claim that was all just a bunch of mothering bull*?

You call the College Board and after identifying yourself, etc. you give them your credit card number and they send them.

Also, there seems to be a place in the UF application that if you check it you allow the University access to ALL your College Board scores (even the ones you don't want them to see). See the thread with the guy complaining about scores he didn't send (a few below this one).

I don't know if it works for the AP scores or if other schools do the same thing. It can save you some money.

I had my guidance counselor call CB and have them re-sent. Coincidentally (or not), my guidance counselor is also my mom. I re-sent them now because if I get into UF I'm definitely going, and I should get into UF. My mom didn't have to pay, though. I said for them to be sent to UF last year, and my score report said they were, but they didn't show up in my status until recently. I think that's why it was free to re-send them. Did you put your SSN on your AP bubble sheet? Maybe UF isn't totally sure who your scores belong to.
