Does Yale require official AP score reports?

Thanks!

Nope they don't!! :D

All right, gracias!

Wait a second... if they don't require them... 5's for me??? Lol, but seriously, can I change a four to a five without getting caught? I am not really considering this, but you never know when this will come in handy... just kidding, just kidding. But I do want to know. Also, do you think listing 15+ AP scores is too many?

^ You're being ridiculous.

I'd say list all of them.
And seriously, I don't think AP scores are as important as I expected. I didn't have straight 5s, and had an ugly 3 in Stats.

Do they care too much if a person has absolutely no AP test scores? I'm taking an AP class this year but never took one before...

Depends on your environment. If your school offers 25 AP classes and you've never challenged yourself with them, that won't look so good. But if your school only offers a couple, and you've truly tried to fulfill your greatest potential, they'll understand. If there are other circumstances, you can try to explain.

No official document need be sent. However one should keep in mind that, although the AP scores on the Common App are self-reported, you are agreeing to provide honest data on your application. Eventually you will be sending your AP scores to the school of your choice and admissions decisions based on false data can always be revoked.

Do you list all your AP scores or just your highest ones?

HOw much do AP scores matter in the admissions process anyways? It doesnt seem like it would matter as much as the other stuff because they don't require the official score report or anything..

AP scores get sent after your grades for your senior year exams are calculated. You tell a lie, and you'll probably get your offer of admission revoked.

I've self studied two APs and the only proof that I took them is my AP report. Should I consider sending in the report?

good question llpitch! same here, and i would really appreciate an answer

^ I self-studied two APs as well.... I put the fact that I did this on my resume/additional information section and didn't provide and "hard evidence" that I did so. (I got in!)

I think they just assume you're telling the truth.

Thanks Rocky. Congratz on getting in =O

To WannaBeYallie - Beware! You don't know what is unofficially provided by your high school. Ours reports scores.
