So they're out now, and yes I forked over the $8 to see how I did. Some of them actually count for Stanford, so I wanted to know. How did everybody do, considering we all suffered from the zenith of senioritis and whatnot?

My scores:
English Lit.: 5
Macroecon: 5
Microecon: 5
Physics B: 4
Calc BC: 4
AB subscore: 5

lol i dare not call. I took 6 AP's and im quite sure that i didnt go over a 1 on half of them. thank god i thought twice and didnt send any of my grades to stanford. ohhh the joys of senioritis.

It's really disgusting that college board charges you $8 for a grade report for which you have already paid almost a hundred dollars. But oh well, I can't handle the pressure so i called and got my scores.

Comp Sci A: 5
Physics C Mech: 4
Physics C E and M: 5

Comp Sci wasn't a surprise, considering I have taken two years of IB computer science. Also, i had taken the test before in junior year. mechanics wasn't a surprise either. I studied for it. But E and M was a freakin miracle. Actually, I think there is some mistake. I had no clue whatsoever. I left one free response COMPLETELY blank, and answered only half of the multiple choice. Unless the curve was like a 55% for a five, there would be no way for me to get that score (and that's assuming I got everything i answered correct). Oh well, I guess miracles do happen!

yes i paid the $8 too... glad to see i'm not the only graduate who still cares about AP's! i did pretty well too- much better than i was expecting considering how little i studied
Euro-4
Latin Vergil-4
US Govt-5
Comparative Govt-5
English Lit-5

Combined with the last two years, that gives me a grand total of 9 5's and 5 4's. Too bad the only one I will get credit for is my 5 on French Language... :(

How well do you have to do to get a 5 on French Language anyway? Actually, how well do you have to do to pass (3)? Say I did pretty well on writing and reading, but got less than half on listening and speaking... enough for a 3? I'd be happy with that!

I didn't study at all for my AP's (slept through the second semester of senior year) and I got:

Physics C Mechanics - 5 (expected)
Microeconomics - 3 (ouch! I didn't really know the material, but still...)
Macroeconomics - 4 (I was expecting a high 4 or low 5)

I shouldn't have taken these, now that I think about it. The only AP that I'm planning on using is BC Calculus from last year, to get into Math51 or 51H.

I thought IB's were out July 6th, zephyr...

Ugh! Now I'm not sure whether or not I want to call... I want to know, but I'm cheap! (Plus, it's only one test, and I don't know whether or not I REALLY want to know). Decisions, decisions...

i think according to the rubrics, each of the four parts are weighted equally, but i remember i did pretty poorly on the speaking portion also and still managed a 5- doing well on 2 of the sections should get you at least a 3

"Mid-July" is as specific as they get, but I would expect July 10th or 13th. To offer the phone grade reporting service now they must already have the grades done. So once they've milked the impatient kids for a week, the probably send out the grade reports. I'm not going to call because I'm (a) cheap and (b) protesting the way they gouge us poor students.

lol... i'm gonna wait it out...finding out my AP scores 10 days earlier is definitely not worth the 8 bucks... some dude from my school got eight 5s and a 4 (from this year alone...)

If we didn't put down "Stanford" when we took the AP tests... which means we didn't send Stanford our scores.... Will they eventually get the scores on our transcripts so that we can get the Credits for classes and stuff?? I really hope so...

I think you have to send your scores to Stanford, similar to how you sent SAT scores to every college you applied to. They don't get them automatically if you didn't specify that on the AP scoresheet.

Yeah, you have to tell collegeboard to send them.

UGH!!! I got my IB scores back and everything...DAYS AGO, and they had to be shipped overseas for marking. Collegeboard has NO EXCUSE for taking this long (except for greed).
