i took a few ap exams but i don't wish to submit any to Cornell (since i did poorly). do i have to notify collegeboard for not submitting my scores or am i set automatically and the scores won't be sent?

If you didn’t list Cornell as a school to send AP scores to (back when you took the test), then no scores were sent and you’re okay.

However, Cornell will see on your transcript that you took AP classes but didn’t submit any test scores, which may seem suspicious.

Actually, Cornell doesn’t expect you to send an official AP score report until you are accepted.

You should, however, list those scores on the common app.

Until you finish your senior year APs and put on there the college you will be attending, all of your AP score reporting is unofficial.

When I was accepted last year I didn’t send in my AP scores…and still haven’t over a year later.
