So I have a question that's kind of bothering me. Between my sophomore and junior years, I have taken 6 AP classes (1 sophomore, 5 junior). I'm planning on taking another 6 APs next year. Here are my scores:

AP Env. Science (sophomore)--4
AP Psychology--5
AP Biology--4
AP English Language/Comp--4
AP Calculus AB/BC--3/3

^will the Calculus AB/BC hurt my chances at Duke ED? I got As in every AP class besides Calculus AB/BC, where I received Bs in both (my only Bs in high school). I'm not planning on majoring in anything math/engineering-esque (I want to pursue medicine, so probably a major in Bio or Chem because they interest me). My standardized test scores are in their range, probably the middle 50%, and I'm ranked top 2% in a VERY competitive public school. My ECs are also pretty good (lots of leadership, internships, etc).

I don’t think it would hurt significantly since your applying to Trinity and not Pratt. I can’t say it won’t impact your chances at all, but if you have other stuff to compensate, then it should be okay.

@mccormickt12: I didn’t mean a major that doesn’t include ANY math, I was referring to something that isn’t 100% math based…I actually enjoy math, it just doesn’t come to me like it does to most Indians lol (and I’m Indian btw, so no I’m not being racist ).

I just attended a seminar where a Duke admissions officer spoke about what the college looks for in their incoming undergraduates. The man said that they do look at AP scores and while 4s and 5s is the kind of score they are looking for, only a 1 or 2 would hurt your chances.
