AP Self Studies and the Common App?

Can anyone provide more insight into how exactly we mark AP's on the Common Application? It asks to fill in the AP Courses that we have taken, however, what if they were self studied? My only fear would be colleges finding a "mismatch" between my transcript and my application. I self studied AP Psychology, and will be self studying AP Calculus BC and AP Physics B, my senior year, but how would I mark that on the Common App? Would I denote it as if it were a course I took in High School and then fill in the corresponding score? Or is it not considered a legitimate class because I did not have in-school instruction?

Thanks in advance!

i have the same problem. im probably going to put the scores down for my self-studies and ask my counselor to indicate to the colleges i will be applying to that they r indeed self-studies and not mistakes. and the same goes for my “senior schedule,” bc im self-studying some courses just like u are. just make sure ur counselor or a teacher highlights ur self-studies.
